This is a excellent and exhaustive text about aerospace propulsion, both air breathing and rocket systems. Unfortunately, this book seems relatively unknown and underappreciated. There are many important contributors to the text, to name a few; Antonio Ferri, George P. Sutton, Martin Summerfield, Howard Seifert, Krafft Ehricke, G.L. Dugger. Aerospace enthusiasts may recognize some of them. For example, Ferri is a prominent aerodynamicist, Summerfield is a leading specialist in solid rocket propellant and Ehricke is a famous German rocket scientist. This is an advanced text and some parts are difficult. Also, I want to mention that the book begin with an extensive review on aerodynamics and thermodynamics, an important shortcoming in Rocket Propulsion Element, the classic reference text about space propulsion.Here is the contents of the bookChapter 1.
